Buying weed in California vs Nevada… Now and then

I remember way back whey I had to buy weed on the streets and beaches of California. If I was lucky, I could find some kind of purple indica for $50 an eighth. Sometimes there were big scary guys with guns but the dealer always smoked with you, it was like the unspoken rule. Now, decades later in Las Vegas, I still pay $50 for an eighth and there is always a big scary guy with a gun. What has changed is now I also have to pay jacked up taxes, and I take my weed out in special adult-proof bags that need to be sealed and smoking on premises will get the big scary guy and or cops involved.

Buying weed… The future is consumption lounges

Of course, California is still much friendlier with less scary guys with guns and they might put it in a paper bag – really depending on what kind of dispensary you find yourself in. The smoking lounges that do exist are very friendly and chill in California and that is something that Las Vegas and Nevada as a state needs to catch up with. Good thing Consumption Lounges are coming to Nevada. I’m excited, and you should be, too.
