Garlicane has bewitching bag appeal. The batch I got consisted of smaller b-buds, but each budlet is a puffy little purple delight. Larger, scaly leafage covers the surface, consisting of a deep purple gradation with some minor green variegation. Pistils appear in such small and infrequent amounts that they almost go unnoticed when looking at the flower. What doesn’t of unnoticed is the prolific amount of trichomes that encrust each bud, comprised of short-to-medium stalks with substantial, intact heads 🤩
The nose on Garlicane is outstanding. It’s a spiced, earthy fragrance with a significant zesty garlic attribute. It’s both fresh and musky with tiniest tinge of acerbity that tickles the nose. Notes of dampened diesel and a small splash of sweetness contribute to further nuance in the scent. Breaking the flower open releases a pungent gassy aroma with a sweet and spicy element that absolutely titillates the senses 🧄
The taste on Garlicane is just as fantastic as the smell. It’s a bold, spiced, and earthy flavoring that’s both rich and lightly savory in taste. It initially reminds me of fresh soil with notes of cloves, turmeric, and nutmeg, but it also has some funky crude oil, polyethylene flavoring that shows up in the exhale and closer to the end of each joint. The flower leaves a piquant, zesty garlic flavoring and mouth feel that stimulates the tongue. It has an earthy, spiced, and slightly bitter aftertaste 🍃
Garlicane has a potent and remarkable effect. It creates an initial feeling of lightness in the head, but it quickly crescendos into a full on cognitive and body high complete with vice-grip head feels and a soothing body heaviness. The flower burns effectively and smokes smoothly all the way down. It creates a copious amount of dusty kief when ground up 😶🌫️
All in all, the Garlicane from Luvli is a stellar cultivar. The B-buds look better than many farm’s As, the profile is a beautifully balanced presentation of its genetics, and the high is ridiculously potent. I really enjoyed smoking through this one. If you’re looking for high quality B-buds, you can’t go wrong with Luvli 🔥
