Stormy Danielz has attractive visual appeal. The buds are small-to-medium-sized, rounded, and fairly dense. The overall color is a vivid, lime green shade with contrasting darker green and black hues popping out here and there. The rusted orange pistil fibers are thick and corded, collecting in groups of several large hairs at a time. A web of trichomes dots the surface, consisting of interwoven stubby stalks with granulated heads like grains of sand 🤩
Stormy Danielz has an entrancing nose on it. I would describe the aroma as a sweet vanilla cream forward complemented with rich and funky nuttiness, then marinated in a sweet and tangy citrus zest. Breaking the flower down releases notes of candy and powdered, almost chalky lemon and grape, akin to Smarties. The flower has an altogether fresh, almost clean, quality to it that stimulates the nasal glands on every whiff 🍨
The flavor on SD is exceptional. It initially smacks the palette with a highly yeasty, creamy dough taste paired with a jolt of sweet and tangy candied citrus. Notes of berries and vanilla provide some additional nuance, while an undercurrent of rich and savory nuttiness can be felt reverberating through the profile on every exhale. The flower generates an ephemeral spiced nose and mouth feel the further the joint burns down and it leaves a sweetened earthy and nutty aftertaste 🍬
SD has a fantastic effect on it. Its a calming, euphoric high that generates some immediate head lightness after the first couple hits. It induces moderate feelings of body relaxation, but the effect isn’t altogether incapacitating or too heavy. The flower is soft and not sticky. It burns perfectly, slowly, and incredibly smoothly all the way down 😶🌫️
All in all, SD is an extraordinary cultivar. It has solid bag appeal and a beautifully balanced high, but the aromatic and flavor profile is what sets it apart for me. It’s a delectable balance of sweet and rich flavors thats just funky enough to have me hitting the joint down to the filter every single time. This is my first flower from iion and I really enjoyed it. Excellent work all around🔥
