Banana Bread Strain Review

I know it feels like the common denominator for these past reviews has been food but who can complain about that? This next strain up for review is Maine favorite that is raved about by many. The banana bread strain by @lonely.bonez Lonely Bones draws a lot of attraction not only by locals smokers but also by those throughout the region. The weed itself came in a sealed package from @kind_farms . Nothing fancy just a simple zip-top baggie which I believe was a little bit of a step up from the standard Mylar bag. When I ripped off the seal and opened the package a mild odor overtook my nose with earthiness notes and blends of smooth sweetness. There was nothing overpowering about the nose but the aesthetics of the buds were promising. The thick, fully and nutrient-laden buds flooded the bag and I was in for an absolute treat. Not to mention the trim job on this batch was righteous! When I broke up the buds, big hills of kief formed as dust particles were left everywhere. There was still an earthy smell left after the break up but the kief mounds and generous yield resulted in a favorable roll. When I sparked this in an organic raw it had an all-around smooth and even burn. The ash was surprisingly darker but that did not necessarily mean that it led a harsher smoke. For the most part, the inhales had a smooth earth-like taste with an exhale that fed off that gassy vibe with an aftermath of sweetness. The driving force within this strain was the fact that breath had that creamy banana taste lingering for about 30 minutes after the smoke. This embodied the terp profile the banana bread had to offer. Overall Rating 8.5/10 The high wasn’t extremely overwhelming but did had a soothing effect. This lead to moments of muscle relaxation leaving an overall euphoric for feel throughout the body. However, this euphoric feel was more heart racing that was joined with excitement. They state that the profile of the strain has racey Sativa effects and I sort of notice that after smoking. This is a great day strain for any football Sunday in which you have activities to participate in before hand or after the game. Overall I thought this batch did the trick. This was my second time smoking it and, truth be told, the first time around was a little more powerful and flavorful. This is also when I was on vacation in Puerto Rico so that was, of course, an added plus. I will have to be on the look out for more material from Lonely Bones. They add to the list of Maine brands that satisfy a tasteful craft for cannabis.
