Strain Review: Dark Matter from TreeHouse Collective
I built a photography box so I could get decent lighting to do this Dark Matter some justice. It’s a work in progress.

Original Breeder: Kingdom Organic Seeds

@resin_ranchers.pdx has been one of the best farms in Portland for a while. Coming across their Triangle Kush Tangie at @thc.pdx years ago inspired me to start paying attention to who grows the weed I smoke. The quality from other growers has caught up to them now, but they’re still top notch.
This is some of the most pleasing weed to smell and look at. Gorgeous purples and blues, and a big pungent sweetness to the nose.
The doughiness and saccharine sweetness come through in the thick smoke, and leaves you choking in standard Resin Ranchers fashion.
I bought this as an insomnia treatment, but wound up using it as a perfect dinner time hybrid. The stoniness isn’t overpowering, but the relaxation is palpable. Great for boosting appetite and chilling out at the end of the day.
I got a feeling this one is gonna be popular like their Runtz, Strawnana, and GMO, so you’ll probably be able to find some around town soon if you can’t find it now. If you want a good place to start your search, the homies at @thc.pdx have a good relationship with the farm, and will be able to recommend something just as good if they’re out of what you’re looking for.
