So it’s been about 8 months since I even considered picking up PotentP after my fugazi carne encounter🥸 Since every fuckin eighth on the shelves is about the same price anyways I thought fuck it i’ll piss in the wind one time. I knew nothing about this strain other than the crosses only cause they’re on the jar lmao. I’ve also only heard of “Platinum Kush” “Platinum OG” “Platinum Cookies” but never just “Platinum” so not sure what category this falls under. Allen Wrench on the other hand is a straight sativer consisting of Trainwreck & NYC Diesel. Upon finding this out I was intrigued to see how these strains paired🔥 The buds may be small but the frost is heavy. Trichomes shining bright like a diamond under the light showing off their fat ass heads💎 Incredibly dense & fluffy with every leaf doused in trichs. To me, weed like this always looks like it was rolled in rock candy🍬 No question some of the best lookin bud i’ve picked up in months! I did however find one tiny seed but to be honest it’s not the end of the world. The smell threw me for a loop. Reminded me of little caesar’s breadsticks with a slight cakey note in the back. Post grind turns into a gassy funky musky earthy mint with that breadstick still lingering. Kind of smelled like a fresh piece of wood that had just been lit for the fire🪵 I hated the smell at first but overtime it grew on me. Sadly the flavor had to fuck up the party. Very earthy with that burnt resiny taste. The smoke was not smooth or harsh just bleh. Reminded me of mid-grade high school smoke. I will admit it did somewhat taste how it smelled just with a burnt twang to it. I gotta admit I was pretty upset after tasting this shit until the effects hit. My head and body were effected simultaneously instead of head effects coming first. Perfect head/body ratio. My back and upper body was relaxed almost immediately. Mind was very uplifted at ease with not a worry in the world. Instead of that head to toe buzzing my body felt like a calm quiet beach tide at night🏝 Eyes become very heavy to the point where they want to close. My head felt so heavy instead of airy that my neck got tired from holding it up🤣 Put my ass through the couch and had me staring off into space🔭If you smoke enough of this, it WILL fuck your shit up. I gatta admit, the brand name fits this strain very well cause it be fuckin potent alright😂💪🏽 Would I scoop this same jar for the same price? You bet your sweet ass I’d grab 2🤩 Even though the flavor wasn’t the best this was still a solid strain. It’s almost rare nowadays finding flower with this kind of quality appearance and effects wise. I couldn’t imagine how amazing this one would be if the flavor was on point.
