Strain Review: Medellin by Lemonnade

Today we are going over a now long running strain by @cookiesenterprises the Medellin 🇨🇴.

Original Breeder: Cookies Enterprises
Grower: Lemonnade
The excitement is high and I tear the seal to be greeted by a very mellow cannabis aroma. The smells are a mixture of pine citrus and cheese and are layered wonderfully. The scent is not overpowered gas but imagine that at a discreet level. It was for sure a quality scent that brought my nose back several times for another whiff.
The visuals were un impressive as you can see there were no coveted characteristics usually desired in a top shelf brand. Majority green/dark green nugs with a few bunches of dark orange hairs. The trichomes did not stand out but with close examination you do see nice coverage along the bottoms of the nugget.
The terpenes were a let down and I did not feel they were to my expectations. There is a short lived cheesy sativa flavor that hits the back of your mouth but that fades away into more of a dry grass sensation.
The pure strength of the strain made up for everything and showed my why this strain has been on shelves for more than two years in an industry where products are in and out of the market in very short intervals. I was stuck to the couch with that numbness in the lower back and intense tunnel vision. I watched Mars Attacks and felt like it was the perfect moment for a couch lock cannabis experience. It fills and expands the lungs packing a punch that keeps you coughing throughout the joint.
Over all although I cannot say this is that modern exotic cannabis experience I have no complaints. The smell was pleasant and the smoke was strong even if the visuals lack the affects made up for it all.
Medellin gets my connoisseur grading of a 7/10.
