Strain Review: Oregon Elephant Flattener by Old World Organics
If you’ve been following me for long, you know I love me an African sativa. The flavors and effects are super unique and perfect for any kind of physical activity. I call it “Hunt a leopard weed.” This Oregon Elephant Flattener is a wonderful hybrid of African sativas and locally bred genetics. The positive qualities of both shine through, with local hybrid traits rounding over the rough edges many African sativas possess.

The high is stimulating and energetic, but doesn’t devolve into paranoia at minor levels of overconsumption like many pure African strains. This isn’t something that’ll leave you with extreme munchies, so maybe save it for a concert or physical activity.
The scent has all the tropical fruit, lemon zest, and gas that I love in an African sativa with a little underlying hashiness that seems common in Landrace genetics. It’s not gonna stink up your whole room, but there’s definitely a lot to the scent.
I have maybe one review left with my @old_world_organics_llc series at this stage. It’s been a lot of fun, and Patrick is a super nice dude. I can’t recommend their weed enough, and you can best believe I’m gonna be bugging my favorite dispensary managers to start carrying their stuff so I don’t have to haul my happy ass all the way to @tjsonpowel @alternativeremediesrebirth or @thurman.street.collective to find their stuff.
