Strain Review: Panama 79 by Old World Organics
If you like old school bud, like really old school, this Panama 79 is your cup of tea.

@preserving_the_mystery described it as “Cheech and Chong bud”, and I couldn’t describe it any better myself.
A delightfully cerebral, almost psychedelic cross of NorCal Afghani and the famous Panamanian sativa, I can see why particularly powerful batches of this would have 70’s teens jumping out of school windows and telling their parents to “Sit on it”.
I used it as my morning cup of coffee, but we’re social distancing, so I can be giggly and dumb without any real consequence right now. Sacrificing function in the name of the munchies isn’t an option for everyone. Maybe wait until you’re gonna watch a movie or hit a restaurant before smoking this and avoid it before work.
I’m kinda glossing over the scent, but that’s because the effects were so remarkable. The smell was your basic Latin Sativa, with some citrus, gas, and standard Kush notes from its Afghani parent.
@tjsonpowell and @thurman.street.collective seem to be the places in Portland to look for Old World Organics, but I’d love to see more places carrying their stuff. They’re trying to expand into Portland more, so hit up either myself or @preserving_the_mystery if you work for a dispensary interested in carrying some classic genetics from some cool people.
