Strain Review: ROC OG by Woodland Reserve

The harvest dates are def from a while back. Not to concerned at the moment but lets see how it goes. Trying out a new format on reviews.
Throughout the sessions I’ve added hash here and there and the combo of that plus Banana OG shatter really sets you up for doing nada. But, subbing out hash and going flower exclusive, I find this locally grown bud a great change from the bigger brands. Tastes like Kush and that’s the perfect profile needed during these crazy times
1. #Scent: Familiar pine term profile from the OG. A slight gas; sour D zing and then a skunk backend on the nose. Given that this was a summer pick but a winter purchase, I’m surprised the weed isn’t as dank as others picked during the October harvest. The overall scent is clean.
2. #Appearance: Frosted esp after using a light. Greens of varying shades go from soft pale green to light green. Trichomes are apparent.
3. #Nug Structure: smaller buds. One bug was def a tighter kola while the rest were looser. These guys fell right off the stem. More kush scent of citrus pine. Gas is not present at this moment. Hand breakdown was easy but I’m opting for the grinder for maximum kief during this lockdown 😀
4. #Smoke: Spice smokey exhale. Off the bubbler the smoke is def a little harsher. Could use a little touch of orange peel to rehydrate. Using the bong with a @mooselabs mouth piece, the smoke is smoother and I can hold it a touch longer in the mouth.
5. #Taste: Light citrus pine hint of sour D gas is tapping the back end taste buds. Not a lip smacker, gunna need some water for the cotton mouth.
6. #TheHigh: Headchange is a quick one in under 2 mins. Full body high for a total of 35-45 mins but def need another bong load afterwords to keep it going.
