Strain Review: Tropical Sleigh Ride by Greenshock Farms

I stumbled across the @seed2soulfacility booth at @theemeraldcup and came across this 100% sungrown preroll 2 count pacakge that just stuck out to me for some reason, once I saw that @greenshockfarms and @mendodopeboys were involved with this product I scopped it up immediately, the strain is Tropical Sleigh Ride which won at 2017 emerald cup , 1st for highest terpene content coming in at a homerun of 4.8% total content, and 2nd for most unique terp profile testing with a high amount of Ocimene which is very uncommon.
Appearance – I did not gut these as I did not want to take away from the integrity of this premium product, so I will discuss the product as a whole. The packaging is amazing, nice clean logos on the box, the box was nice thick and sturdy so could be reused if you wanted, it reminded me of a package for antique medicine, the side of the box opens up by way of a magnetic strip and folds out to reaveal two brown glass joint tubes sealed with a waxed cork, you than had to pull a string to break the wax seal to access the joints, the joints were beautifully rolled and tipped with raw filters. (I think a glass tip would suit this product a little more) I do feel as if these were packaged as if they were fit for a king.
Smell – As soon as I uncorked the glass tube a massive mix of Terps delightfully slammed me with smells of exotics fruits and earthy pines, this strain just poured out a unique musk and I have never smelled anything quite like it.
Taste – Wow, just wow!! The taste was a mix of everything, exotic fruit meshes with a unique blend out nutty creamy smooth earthy pineyness, inhale and exhale just off the charts insane smooth clean flavor!!! The joint burned white ashes, had a nice full resin ring and kept the flavor all the way to the bitter sweet end.
To anyone that was involved with this product I have to give you a round of applause 👏👏👏 Hands down one of the best packaging jobs I have seen, as soon as I opened it I knew I was in store for something truly special.
Effects – Immediately after 3 pulls I began to feel a buzz wrap around the top of my head,halfway through it began to work its way down my body relaxing every muscle, not a worry in the world could knock me down from atop this mountain. I was still extremely sharp and clearheaded and could still tackle the day head on but could also tune out into my own world if I wanted to. My creative jucies are flowing nicely.
I give this strain 5++++++ stars, and I award this with the best strain i have smoked in 2019!!!! Needless to say I need to get this back in my stash asap and will be a must have anytime I come across it.
It was something elegant yet simple and you did not have to slap a colorful bow tie to draw me to it. To the breeders and growers you have created something very magical keep up the amazing work and i can’t wait to see what you have in store next and the next time I am in Cali i know what i am hunting for.
