Strain Review: Wasabi by Zamokers

Wasabi – @zamokers Nose: Earthy notes of must, pine and spice. Inhale: Not a lot of taste initially. Same pine-like notes found in nose almost identical. Exhale: Spicy with a light musty taste. Zamokers Wasabi Strain Review

Happy Friday Jr. everyone! We almost made it 🙌🏻. Today we will be jumping into a review covering the Wasabi strain I got from Zamokers who are making their debut. They are hailing from CT and what a year it’s been for that state with the legalization of weed after all these years of wait. I’ve had my eye on these guys for a little while now and wanted to see what they had to offer. One thing I’m sure a lot of you have noticed over the past few years is the emergence of several new strain named after various Japanese foods. The Wasabi strain will for sure bubble those taste buds. First off, this came in a traditional square Mylar bag with some funky art on it. When I initially opened the bag I was greeted with light to mild terps of spice and other odd earthly smells. This raised my curiosity of how it would smoke but I had my hopes up for this one. The bud was a hollow as a rock and looked fairly nutrient-laden. There were an equal amount of purple and green shades throughout the bud dumped with a fair amount of crystals. The yield was ok but wasn’t amazed by it. At this stage, I had yet to really see why this strain is called Wasabi apart from the fact that it had that herbal spice in smell to its nose. Overall Rating 8.1/10 I rolled this up in an organic RAW as per usual and sparked it up. The spice became clear on the inhale and, then, on the exhale a smooth finish with almost a touch of citrus to it which came out of nowhere. But wait, we’re not finished there. Then the wasabi feel hit in my mouth and almost got that soap feel of in my mouth and almost a cleansing effect. Not as bad as it sounds and I actually got the same effect when I tried The Soap from Minntz a few months back. I was actually taken away by this and this indeed made up for the fair aesthetics on it. I lit this up on 4 different occasions and I can say each session was better than the next so you certainly have to get used to this. It wasn’t the most overpowering stuff I ever smoked but it was a pretty chill high on the couch. I felt nice numbing sensation that overtook the body for about 30-45 minutes and those terps I explained berfore lingered in my mouth. Enjoying this with football was a plus and I did get the hankering for some munchies after. All in all, I would say this was a pretty decent smoke and did the trick. We hope to see you guys again soon keep killing the work down there! 💪🏻

I have been lucky enough to have smoked this is the UK, and am smoking it right now hahaha. The taste of like a fruity zest is 100% correct when blowing out, its so smooth and beautiful. The buzz, for me anyway, builds when you smoke the next one and then its just total bliss.
