Toad Venom Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

Lets start off by saying this had a FUCK TON of hype behind this one. I can see why. I remember when a few people were putting this up on a high pedestal , and for right reasons for sure. This made me say “i need to get my hands on this”. It somehow reminded me of the Face Mintz by Pure and Proper go , idk why just a slight resemblance. It also reminded me of the the Stroopwaffel by @brave_boat_gardens which in my opinion, is still my top 3 unbeatable batches of all time, but i digress.

Anyways, into the review. I had this batch and the jar living soil batch (i believe it was living soil but could be wrong) by The Firm, which i will also be posting next. This one looked very different from that one and in a good way. This was COVERED in frost and sticky as fuck to the finger. I could have touched a nug with my finger and picked it up out of the jar. Perfect cure on this one as well. The smell was fantastic too.

Like a gassy garlicy cookie all packed in to a Kusky Structure which is is favorite. Nice heavy almost musk that you would imagine from an OG or a strong cookie. This is straight PACKED with gas. Heavy heavy gas. Now although this was great, in my HONEST opinion, i feel as if it was a tad overhyped. Definitely a great batch and maybe i didnt get the best one, but i dont see this being the best or the strongest weed of the last year or so. Not hating or shitting on this strain whatsoever just being honest. I thoroughly enjoyed this, even tho it wasnt what i expected. Could’ve definitely been a little more dialed in as well.

Would love to revisit this in the future. No background noise and great taste translation. Slightly abbrasive on the lungs but nothing that would make me put the joint out. I was feeling the effects like as soon as i lit this one up. Very strong onset high that started as soon as i grabbed my lighter. I really enjoyed this one but honestly think that people gave this its flowers far too early in its lifespan. Maybe i set the bar very high due to all the hype and insane reviews but i did still really enjoy this one. LungFood™️👇🏽
