Appearance: the packaging itself is really well done. Once you pop it open though you’re greeted by flower so frosty that the resin falls off in clumps. Underneath all the rails of resin glands the coloration has a dark violent hue with some small green bits poking through here and there. This is some of the most visually impressive flower I’ve seen in a long time. The nugs are so resinous that it’s almost hard to tell what color it is underneath. Props to the cultivator because this cultivar was done justice.
Aroma: First whiff off the bag it definitely smells like candy. It reminds me of those blue raspberry sour punch straws. It’s not often I come across these “blue” smelling cultivars that often these days. It almost reminds me of sherbanger a little bit but without the stank associated with that strain. After you get over the candy aspect of the profile it transitions into more of a sugar coated pine that almost seems to open up my airways and make
me breathe deeper. It’s a warm and inviting smell that has some depth to it. Certainly not your typical candy nose. After smelling it a lot I get almost a mentholated aspect that accompanies that pine and makes my nose tingle a bit.
There’s definitely some terps popping off in this bag. 🔥🙌
Taste/Smokeability: It’s nearly a direct translation from the nose to smell which is always nice. That blue raspberry candy flavor is definitely there but towards the end of the joint it settles more into that sweet earthy pine that is just super pleasant. It’s a very nice balance between the candy and earthy flavors that find a harmony somewhere in between both those worlds.
The roll I was sent was really well made and had great airflow to really appreciate the flavors this strain expresses. Oil rings were super drippy and the ash was pretty solid white with minimal to no dark spots.
Effect: This is certainly some after work/end of the day flower, at least for me. I smoked half a roll of this right away after not smoking all day and I was just blitzed! My thought processes are definitely slower after imbibing this one. It’s not a straight up motivation killer but it’s more relaxing than creatively inspiring if you catch my drift.
Physically my muscles do feel a lot more relaxed and my feet don’t hurt anymore.
I can personally attest this has medicinal properties for those seeking pain/anxiety relief. Appetite stimulation is moderate. It makes me hungry but not enough to blow through a bunch of my kids snacks in my pantry. This will help you sleep if you smoke as much as I did but I can see it being versatile if used in smaller amounts.
Overall: This is the second strain I’ve tried from Ibearoundexotics. The first one I tried was an absolute banger so I had high expectations for this one too and it did not disappoint! It’s checking all the boxes for me. I always love it when something tastes and smells as beautiful as it looks. The total package is a rarity these days but you can definitely find it with this one.
If you haven’t tried it before it’s definitely worth a try. 🤙
