Not having had any flowers from Peppazzz before, I was interested to see how this simple but appealing cross fared. With the branding referencing Madonna, supposedly due to the White Cherry influence. Upon opening I was greeted by an earthy and creamy Gelato dominance, complemented by light cherry undertones. The buds were of a hard density and had a hybrid structure. They were a shade of light to medium green with hues of purple, with attractive violet and pink guts, alongside rustic pistils and covered in a thick coat of almost trichomes, paying homage to its White lineage. Upon inhaling, my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering mild earthy notes of Gelato displaying light creamy and chemical traits, alongside very faint cherry undertones. The taste of this Gelato dominant earthiness was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, after some curing I overall found La Lola Bonita to smoke exceptionally smooth and clean, just being let down by a slightly mundane taste, leaning towards its Gelato lineage. Despite a mild earthy dominance overpowering its appealing Zkittlez and cherry genetics, it smoked pleasantly well, ticking some boxes and with some further dialling in, can be further improved and remain a distinctive staple of Peppazzz lineup.
