Rainbow Sherbert #11 x Biskante #40 Cannabis Cultivar (“Strain”) Review
Been a while since ive had some Alien Labs. I Still remember that 2017/2018 batch of wedding cake that made me an instant fan. Super caked up, dense and funky bud that made me realize they were something special. Fast forward to 2024 and they have came a LONG way with many achievements. This one caught my eye being labeled as “Top Secret” and the pricepoint being higher than usual. This one being RS 11 times Biskanté 40 had me excited. The lineage on both are right up my alley as RS11 and its relatives are some of my favorite cultivars for the past several years.
The Biskante being Biscotti and Melonade I knew i was in for a treat. There is more than meets the eye when it comes to this one. At first glance, you might think it smells/tastes different than she actually does. This was filled with a myriad of terps that all meshed well together. Sweet end of the sherb spectrum with an added Lemon/Citrus Gas would be the best way to describe it. After milling, that smell was even more prominent. The taste however was a slightly different ratio of the previously stated components. On the taste it had a lot less of the sherby taste but it was still present for sure.
Tasted more like a Gelonade almost ! Tasted like a fruit-forward , Citrussy Froyo with an ever so slighy funky gas backend. This smell and taste were honestly amazing. Decently clean smoke, could have been a lot cleaner but still very smooth. Became salt n peppery/harsh after the halfway point of the doink but still enjoyable nonetheless. Don’t judge a book by its cover is the number one takeaway from this review. Wasn’t the most potent thing ive tried from them but sometimes, a tasty strain with a nice mellow high is all you need to check some boxes.
