Aroma-
I was excited to try Poundcake’s Farms again and they did not disappoint this time either. Fontaine Bleau has a sweet, earthy, and woody aroma that’s pretty pungent. As I kept smelling, I was picking up slight notes of the Girl Scout Cookies strain. In a few words the aroma is sweet, earthy, and woody, with a light cookie background.
Taste-
Fontaine Bleau has a really good transition from aroma to flavor. All the same notes and terps are in the taste, but with that said, gassy notes were noticeable too, adding a nice punch and lung expansion to the smoke. Not the craziest weed you’ll taste, but it’s better than average.
Effects-
The high is Indica leaning with a relaxed and lightly sedated body high, but the head high is clear and focused enough to work or get things done. It has very light eye pressure and an easy cerebral buzz so it is not a “in your face” type of high. I enjoyed smoking this in the morning or while working to increase focus and mental clarity, while still keeping my body relaxed.
Overall I enjoyed Fontaine Bleau and I would pick it up again. They list this 7g bag for $60 before taxes, so for some good top shelf bud I would not pass this deal up if you see it at your dispensary. It checks off all the box’s, and I have nothing really to criticize other than one thing…. The consistency after it is broken down, unfortunately it does break down fine, sometimes with no fluffiness, fluffiness is important. That’s the only thing that takes off some points of their grade. I have been enjoying this brand and I am looking forward to smoke more from them. Cheers 💨
