Announcing the 2025 Cannabis and Environmental Stewardship Symposium at Cal Poly Humboldt
[FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE] Arcata, CA – Cal Poly Humboldt’s Cannabis Studies Program invites campus and community members to attend the second annual Symposium on Cannabis and Environmental Stewardship to empower regenerative cannabis agriculture and best practices for licensed cannabis production.
Regenerative cultivation and principles are at the center of our efforts to promote communities of action across professional sectors: cultivators, nonprofits, researchers, students, public servants, and more.
Each year, we aim to cultivate common ground for diverse stakeholders to learn from each other about opportunities and challenges related to the promotion of environmental stewardship in concept and practice. This event will take place on Friday, March 28th, 2025 in the Native Forum on campus from 9 am to 5 pm . This event is free and open to all. Breakfast and lunch will be served.
A social gathering will be held on Thursday, March 27th, 2025 at Septentrio Winery in Arcata from 7 to 9 pm.
The 2025 Cannabis and Environmental Stewardship Symposium is funded through the Land-Sea Connection Program of Resources Legacy Fund, made possible by the Keith Campbell Foundation for the Environment.
