Grease Star Cold Cured Rosin Review
Appearance: the color on this rosin is a platinum blonde. It has a pretty saucy consistency at room temp from the thick layer of terps. Even out of the fridge pre stir it has a greasy sheen to it but consistency was definitely a little chunkier when cold. This stuff is really workable and easy to dab. Just wouldn’t dry dunking it because even cold it’s not exactly a dry enough rosin to touch which is certainly not a bad thing! Just pays to have a heated dab tool.
Aroma: This might be one of the most insane candy fruit profiles I’ve ever smelled. It literally smells like someone took a bag of tropical skittles and dissolved them in a bottle of pineapple Fanta soda. It’s got that effervescent pop! It’s has mouthwatering tart strawberries, ripe bananas, cherries even a small hint of lime in there. You dig a little deeper and it kind of smells like Hawaiian fruit punch. If someone made a gummy candy from this flavor they’d be a gazzillionare because these terps just jump out this jar and whack me right square in the nose. This is immediately one of my new favorite smells.
Flavor/smokeability: I taste the banana OG heavily in this right off rip I get that lip Smacking banana essence with a hint of limey pine but I also taste those others fruits just in a more diminished capacity compared to the nose. I definitely taste the strawberry and cherry in there as well. One fruit I got that I didn’t find in the smell was a little bit of guava. Really interesting.
The vapor itself is really smooth. This has moderate expansion but not enough to choke me up in the morning.
Effect: This hit me like a ton of Xanax infused bricks. 😴 I did not expect something so fruity and fizzy smelling
Could take me down like this. It’s a good thing my workflow is kind of light today because I don’t want to do much of anything besides hang out with my many pets partner and children. The motivation just got sapped right out of me. This would be good for the end of the night. I intended on writing this review the night before but after trying this more than a few times throughout the afternoon I lost the will to be conscious pretty early in the evening.
Overall: I feel super blessed to be able to try this strain grown and bred by one of my favorite cultivators out of the trinity alps and processed by an OG in the game Full Flava who processed this material into some immaculate extract. This specific cross is a brand new breeding project so if you’re one of the lucky few to try this enjoy it!
