Melon Melange has a complex and inviting aroma floral, creamy, earthy, rich, with a slightly funky, fruity candy note. It reminds me of slicing into a fresh cantaloupe or biting into watermelon and catching some of the rind. On the breakdown, it gives off earthy, creamy, floral, and fruity candy notes, with hints of sour citrus, gas, and funk. The smell leans toward that of overripe fruit sweet but a little tangy and fermented. On the inhale, it’s floral, sweet, earthy, creamy, gassy, rich, and slightly bitter. The exhale brings out more of the gassy, fruity candy sweetness, with tropical, funky, and creamy notes.

The flavor reminds me a lot of how cantaloupe smells, but there’s also a distinct watermelon rind bitterness that adds depth. The more you smoke, the more that cantaloupe flavor seems to come forward. The smoke is smooth and a bit thick, giving solid lung expansion. The joint burns clean with white ash, which is always a good sign. The high is euphoric, relaxing, clear headed, and uplifting. It starts in the head airy but heavy almost like your head is expanding. You’ll feel it settle behind and around the eyes, making them feel heavy and low. A tingling sensation spreads throughout the body, easing muscle tension and calming the nerves.

I noticed a strong sense of euphoria very calming, but also mentally focused and uplifting. That said, if you lock in on something for too long, you might find yourself spacing out. I was hesitant to pick this up at first because melon terps aren’t usually my favorite, and I didn’t expect them to come through very strong but I was surprised. This one’s super terpy with a solid, noticeable high. Definitely more of a daytime smoke perfect for after work when you want to unwind but still be productive. That said, it’s strong enough to hold up for night use, too.
