‘SF Hash Week’ showcases 6-star full-melt, plus old-school pressed hashish, fresh live rosins, and new vapes starting July 8
JUNE 24, 2025 | SAN FRANCISCO—San Francisco is two weeks away from its second annual SF Hash Week, and the lineup of releases has come into focus. San Francisco-Bay Area cannabis lovers and tourists can expect:
- Limited-edition, small batch, 6-star full-melt Super Boof hash from Moon Valley
- Alpenglow-grown Maddfruit live rosin washed by Harry Rose from Solful
- Rare, old-school, pressed hashish triangles of Whitethorn Rose from Fire King of San Francisco
- Powerful, new, all-in-one single-source vapes of Strawberry Hash Plant from Errl Hill of Humboldt, CA
- Verzace x Red Veltet ‘hash hole’ joints from Oakland, CA brand Dunkz
- And coveted, new examples of ‘piatella’ hash the consistency of tiramisu from James Loud
That’s just a few highlights of the fine world of extracts coming to market for the week-long, city-wide festival. More than 50 brands are participating, and organizers expect several thousand RSVPs to the event series, as well as several pounds of hash sold through licensed dispensaries.
SF Hash Week works just like Beer Week or Restaurant Week. It’s a week-long, citywide celebration of a regional specialty. Each night features a drop party—like a record release party, but for a rockstar hashmaker. Food, art, music, and education envelope the celebration.
The biggest names in California cannabis concentrates launch their latest, including: Raw Garden, Kiva’s Lost Farm, 710 Labs, Jetty, Kalya, Nasha, Ay Papi, Hash and Flowers, Terphogz, Purple City Genetics and more. Device-makers like Dr. Dabber, and Puffco give the crowds the latest and greatest to dab in.
Moon Valley’s ultra-limited, 6-star full-melt drop requires special freezers for transportation, distribution and sales. The strain Super Boof is Leafly’s Strain of the Year 2024, and just swept the Transbay Challenge Finals contest in Los Angeles.
Solful’s release of Maddfruit washed by Harry Rose and grown by Alpenglow with genetics from Purple City Genetics leads in hype with over 133 RSVPs to the dispensary party Sunday, July 13 from 2 to 5 p.m.
Fire King brings Whitethorn Rose two ways—as pressed hashish and Country Rose live rosin—to Richmond, CA Wed. July 9. The pressed hash is a deep, dank purple concentrate of the riotously beautiful flowers from Huckleberry Hill and Canna Country.
Showcasing the ‘hash hole’ trend of joints with hash down the middle—Oakland, CA brand Dunkz has paired Verzace flower from Goat Gardens, and Red Velvet rosin from Royal Key for their 7/10 appearance at Moe’s.
“San Francisco, the Bay Area, and California remain by far the best place to not only grow weed, but make and consume flowers and extracts,” said David Downs, SF Hash Week organizer, and an award-winning journalist and best-selling author. “That’s a climatic fact. Oregon is too cold. Colorado is too dry, and the East Coast is too humid. The best remains here.”
Weekly and daily print, broadcast, and digital features writers are invited to preview the heady, clicky, only-in-SF event for their audiences today.
