Guess who’s back!? Sorry I’ve been a bit MIA on you all this year. I promise I’ll be bringing this year with bangers on top of bangers with content, I have so much in store for you all and can’t wait to show what’s been in my palette. We’re going to bring the first post of 2025 with the Candied Yams strain, by Backpack Boyz. I have beyond too many words to describe and discuss this strain with you all. This strain has easily made its way into my top 3, and I can promise that it is well worth the try. Candied Yams brings in a sweet, earthy, yet exhilarating experience not just upon opening the bag, but smoking it as well brings upon a high that’ll lock you down and wanting to come back for seconds. Packaging was beyond phenomenal I’d have to say. The bag appeal matches the look of the strain itself. Peep further below to see this beaut!
Taste: 9/10; This strain is a taster, giving a sweet, earthy, and spicy profile to it. This dessert leaning strain matches up to its name, the smell of it is sweet with a hint of a tearjerker to it as well. As I mentioned before, this strain has easily made its way to my top 3 strains, having a strong profile that matches up to its name. The Sweet Potato Pie (Animal Mints x Gelatti) adds a distinct sweet, and spicy profile to Candied Yams, making this a powerhouse of flavor. I’ve smoked this strain for over a month, and it remains consistent across all fronts in not just taste, but smoke as well. Even when mixed, you can tell that Candied Yams is in the blunt and over takes any other strain you mix it with.
Smoke: 9/10; Candied Yams really lives up to its name and I can’t stress on getting your hands on this as soon as you can. The Sweet Potato Pie makes it powerhouse and choker while the smooth essence of the Z makes the strain an all around great smoke. This strain is also to not be taken lightly as it will couch lock you, but will leave you wanting more. Very strong on the body high as this strain leans heavily on the indica-dominant side. For all my indica lovers, definitely get your hands on this strain if you’re looking for a sweet treat for the end of your night that’ll leave you full and happy. When you’re without this strain, it’s hard to not crave it right after it’s gone.
