Edible Review: Ginger Lime by Emerald Hour

This Ginger Lime by Emerald Hour is made by the same folks who brought us Canadians TeaPot Infused Iced Teas which offer fantastic iced tea flavours. But we’re not here to talk about that. This Emerald Hour craft cannabis beverage is making a shift to the rosin infused beverage category which I welcome with open arms (and gullet).

Most of us who have been enjoying infused beverages, know that the full spectrum products offer a better and longer lasting high. That more companies are making the move to this premium ingredient is a testament to a maturing market place. Consumers are demanding more. Not to say that the distillate versions of cannabis beverages don’t have their place, especially for drinkers who are new to exploring cannabis drinks. But once you’ve figured out what they’re all about, full spectrum drinks are the way to go.

Emerald Hour Ginger Lime has great flavour. The ginger nicely balanced with the lime flavour so as not to overwhelm. This is especially nice as ginger can have a real sharpness to it.

The sugar content isn’t nothing but at 10 grams per can, it’s not bad. The cans are small, just 222 mL. That makes it easy to tuck them into a bag when you’re on the go or relaxing outside enjoying the weather. And summer is when the demand for cannabis infused drinks is on the rise. Ask any Canadian who is waiting all year for nice patio weather. More and more people are looking for healthier alternatives to alcohol. This well crafted beverage fits perfectly into a health conscious lifestyle. The Emerald Hour Ginger Lime is great for the creative folks too. Try it a base for crafting cocktails home – no booze required.

I enjoyed this drink immensely, I think you will too.
