Buddha’s Mango (2 grams) (90-149u) By The Real Cannabis Chris
👀: This rosin had an impressive look, showcasing another signature style Chris is known for. It featured both cold cure consistencies, which I really enjoy. The Purple Ice Water x Piña #22 #8 on the outside had a beautiful pale beige hue. Its stable consistency made it easy to scoop, which I enjoyed. Meanwhile, the Mango Starburst #5 had a similar color but with a slightly warmer, orange tint, while maintaining nearly the same smooth stable consistency. The jar design was a standout as well which is no surprise from Chris . The front sticker featured a vibrant orange background with people riding a roller coaster, while the back sticker displayed a Buddha statue set against a sunset which was a cool addition. 8.7/10
👃: The aroma of this jar was incredible. As soon as I cracked it open and brought it close to my nose, a wave of rich, sour-yet-sweet ripe mango filled my nostrils. It instantly reminded me of the Candied Paloma from @kimjongrosin that I really enjoyed last year. There was also that “chris smell” I always mention that I smell throughout most of his jars, though it was more faint in this batch. Interestingly, the outer layer didn’t carry much scent, likely because the bold mango starburst aroma completely took over the jar which I wasn’t mad at. 9.3/10
👅: The taste on this one was absolutely great it definitely matched its smell but the taste was just so much more complex and unique. As I’ve been doing with most of these thumbprints I try it in three ways: the outside then the inside then a mixture which really gives me the three ways to see how the jar is. The purple ice water x piña #22 #8 had a very refreshing fruity citrus sweet vibe to it that honestly I would’ve enjoyed by itself my type of terps most definitely. The mango starburst #5 on the inside layer is what was reeking with that sour ripe mango smell. It literally tasted like a very sour tangy orange mango which was just mouth coating truly. When I had a mixed of both you could taste the purple ice water x piña #22 #8 but man did that mango starburst #5 just shines with its mouth coating terps. 9.5/10
Overall: The Real Cannabis Chris absolutely delivered something special with this jar. He checked every box, and I genuinely enjoyed every bit of it. The terps were loud, both in smell and taste coating the mouth with a vibrant, tingly complexity that lit up the taste buds. Easily one of my favorite jars from him, and that’s saying something since I’ve had my fair share. What really set this one apart was its uniquely balanced sour-sweet, fruity, candied terp profile just phenomenal. The effects were spot on, not overwhelmingly potent but delivering a smooth enjoyable high. The Mango Starburst #5 in the inner layer instantly reminded me of that Candied Paloma by Kim Jong Rosin. They’re different, but they both shared that same unique terp profile that I love. I wanted to stash some away for the head stash, but let’s be real anytime I get a jar this good, it just vanishes before I know it. Chris really did his thing with this one, and I’d 100% grab it again without a doubt.. 9.6/10
