Having tried a majority of Cannatique’s vast candy lineup, I was interested to see how their classic Blueberry Cruffin fared in comparison. With the branding in blue packaging, depicting a blueberry muffin. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by an overwhelming sweet and tangy burst of blueberries alongside faint earthy, pine and menthol undertones. The buds were of a hard density and had a hybrid structure. They were a shade of medium green with hues of blue and purple, alongside minimal short rustic pistils and covered in trichomes.
Upon inhaling, my palate was instantly overcome notes translating from the smell, delivering a tasty infusion of tangy and faintly sweet blueberries, against a pungent Cookies and Skunk earthiness with faint hints of menthol and pine. The taste of this blueberry dominant earthiness was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of medium to light grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, I overall found Blueberry Cruffin to deliver a tasty distinctive blueberry Cookies infusion, exhibiting its lineage effectively. It smoked pleasantly well, ticking most boxes and with a little further dialling in, can only be further improved and remain a distinctive staple of Cannatique’s usual candy lineup.
