Dark Matter Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

Appeal: 8.7/10

Mostly smaller sized, short squat triangular shaped popcorn nuggets with one medium sized tall stretching nugget. The nuggies are mostly lime green with some intermittent purples highlighted by short stubby orange pistils & thick resinous trichomes that have long stalks and well defined heads of medium size that cluster in the crevices. The nugs may be smaller sized, but they definitely have a lot of density, made from nug structure that has flat semi-hard outer surfaces that carry an even trim. The best part of the appeal is that the nugs truly have a proper finish with excellent ratios between the dry, cure, & moisture. The outers seem semi-hard n dense from the outside- & it does crack open with a crisp snap, but then it surprisingly pulls apart nice and soft, revealing resinous inner moisture that consistently exposes thick, webby, long stretching trichome stretches as you continue to break the nugs open. The aftergrind has an average yield with super fine grained consistency that rolls up with ease.

Heavy Zoap Terps. The nugs lead with rainbow candy florals, zkittlez candy citrus fuel, & an antibacterial zoapy soapiness that blends into its creamy doughy nutty lavender floral purple terped cookie side perfectly, while having that sharp zesty lime & sour grapefruit citrus fuel rounding it out. Wrapping the candy citrus & cookie/candy florals together is a tangie like orange citrus, that’s sweet & tangy with a peppery/woody pungency backing it up. The profile also carries distant undertones of earthy kush, zkittley aqua chlorine cleaner, rubbery tar, & sharp lemon fuel that add nice pungent gas layer to the sweet n creamy doughy nutty cookie candy Zoap Terps.

Pure white ash to the bone while having a nice average terp drip. The smoke was super smooth on mouth, inhale, & exhale alike- revealing clean terps that carry hardly any bite at all and has zero distortion on the flavor. It has some mild lung pressure, but it’s more of a smooth flavorful mouth coating smoke rather than being a gassy lung ripper like some Z flavored based strains can be. The aroma was translated to the flavor perfectly, with the doughy nutty creaminess of the soapy rainbow candy florals being emphasized on the mouthcoat, but while still offering plenty of cheek staining candy citruses that take on a semi-tropical delivery in the flavor. The zkittley grapefruit lime and aqua chlorine lemon cleaner supply nice gas pressure to the lungs, while its earthy woody gas, peppery pungent orange citrus tang, & creamy candy cookie florals wrap it all together in the exhale. The mouthcoat is impressively thick, plastering the flavor to your palette for a notable lip smacking aftertaste that lasts for 2 hours after the session.

Effects & Potency: 8.7/10

The onset starts with a slight tightness sitting in the chest as a ball of chest pressure slowly starts to expand in the body- while that’s happening a short lived burst of increased heart rate enters the scene while a sharp focus enters the mind. At the exact same time as that initial rush hits, a solid euphoric headrush hits the forehead and temples, wrapping fully around the head where it supplies a toasty low eye stoneage that continues to get stronger as that short lived body energy / focus starts to soon where off. The body ends with semi-strong relaxation with a Stoney mental but positively uplifting bake for 2hours

Really solid jar! The bag appeal was average, the nose was amazing, the sesh was PROPER and the effects/potency checked the box. My favorite parts were the nose, the ash, the smoothness & the flavor/mouthcoat/aftertaste. Super solid jar, this one was definitely worth the 45 an eighth pretax. Zoap fans will definitely love this one. If it was more gassy and ripped the lungs during the prime flavor/smoothness it would be super duper special – that’s the one thing I’ll hope to see in its performance next time I grab it!
