Ghost Train Haze has attractive bag appeal. It consists of medium-to-large-sized nugs that are both rounded and quite dense. The base bud coloration is a bright, lime green tone with dark green leafage and cinnamon-tinted pistil fibers. Cloudy and clear trichome heads pepper the exterior of the flower and glimmer with incandescence under illumination 😍
The nose on GTH is exceptional. It has a crisp pine aroma with an undercurrent of sour lemon. The complexity of the lemony side of the profile is notable – the fragrance fills the nostrils with magnitudes of sour, sweet, and borderline savory citrus. The scent has sharper notes of chemical raunch that elevate the acerbity in the rest of the profile without dominating the expression. There’s a refreshing, almost clean quality to the smell that stimulates the senses on each whiff. Overall, the fusion of fragrances makes me think of lemon pledge, lemon rinds, and Christmas trees 🍋
The taste of the GTH is solid. The flavor is earthy, woody, and kushy with an overtone of sharp pine that douses the tongue on inhale. Notes of lemon zest appear on exhale and slowly build as the joint burns down, intensifying into this all encompassing seasoned citrus. It’s an intricate menagerie of piney, spicy, fruity, herbal, and earthy flavors that envelops the tastebuds. The flower has an airy pine and skunked earth aftertaste that sits on the tongue for an extended amount of time after consiming 🌲
The effect on GTH is prominent. It starts out with a light feeling of expansiveness in the head. It’s closer to an active head high but its still noticeably potent in smaller amounts. In higher amounts, it produces mild physiological effects, a feeling of euphoria, and a significant cerebral buzz. The flower burns perfectly, smoothly, and slowly all the way down 😶🌫️
All in all, the GTH is a remarkable cultivar. It has solid visual appeal, a powerful cerebral high, and a profile that’s reminiscent of old school haze cultivars with an extra kick. Terrific work from Zen Pharm 🔥
