Aroma-
This strain provides a refreshing candy and sherbet nose initially but as you keep smelling a funkiness really starts to come out. The aroma is intoxicating to the nose and it carries a complex profile of funk, candy, and a pungent sourness. The quality of the flower was pretty good but the breakdown could have been less stiff and crumbly.
Taste-
Unfortunately the aroma does not transition into the flavor properly, creating a bland flavor profile. There are very light hints of sweetness but overall there is no noticeable flavor. With that said the smoking experience is still smooth with a nice exhale that carries no harshness.
Effects-
Rainbow Taffy provides a euphoric and relaxing high that is good for day smoking and productivity. The high is mostly in the head with a “lightheaded“ feeling that’s stimulating but also relaxing. The body high is minimal but it keeps me comfortable. Overall the effects really didn’t surprise me and kind of like the flavor it just seemed bland. I’m not saying it’s a bad high, but just if I’m looking for candy or sherbet smokes, there are much better options out there.
To conclude, I think Ted’s has much better options when it’s comes to candy or sherbet smokes than this Rainbow Taffy. The aroma wasn’t bad but the flavor and effects could have been better and more complex. I went through a quarter zip of this strain through my bong so I gave it a second chance forsure. With that said, do not worry because I have a lot of Ted’s coming up for reviews that I got from Zalympix like Turkey Legs, which is smoking fire! Hope you have a good week. Cheers 💨
