Harvest Moon Gardens Z Cannabis Cultivar (“Strain”) Review
Not much has to be said about this legend. Super consistent year after year putting out the best versions of some of the most classic strains this game has to offer. Z is a strain that many many people put out in many variations, often coming up very short. This Z is certainly not one of them. Packed with flavor , this is one of the best batches of Z in circulation right now that brings me back to those original 2018ish batches that got the whole world Z crazy to begin with. Opening the jar, I was met with that typical Zkittkes look with a decent smattering of trichomes throughout. Noone buys Z for the bag appeal lets be honest. We buy it for that flavor we all have come to love and forever seek.
I got a strong grapefruit citrussy smell that soon filled up the whole whip. There was also a hint of Lime i wanna say with a candy tone to the limeness. I always say, theres only a few ways to describe Z without getting redundant or reusing the same adjectives and descriptions. Some expressions are more “candy” leaning and some are more fruity leaning. I feel like this was an even 50/50 mix of both characteristics. It was phenomenal to smell to say the least. Taste translation was surprisingly on point as well. Everything in the smell converted into my palate with an exact taste of what was presented in the nose. Wasnt 10/10 clean smoking but it was for sure up there and was smooth as fuck for about 75% of the jay.
There was a fruity tartness that is present in all of the good Zs. After that point, a hot smokey taste became more present and slowly drowned the terps out. Not in a “lemme put this joint out” type of way, just wish the flavor was a little more present for a little longer. But i am a hard critic and am being extremely technical and nitpicky here. The flavor was ultimately really up there compared to most on the market at this point in time. In conclusion , this was extremely good and reminded me why I love Z so much. You have to do A LOT to top this one. I think the next one on the rolling block has got to be the 3rd Eye Z, its only right. Stay tuned for that !!! Overall amazing.
