Edible Review: Confetti Cake by Benevolent Bakery
The Confetti Cake by Benevolent Bakery is unlike any edible I’ve bought before.
Let me explain. It was a soft, airy cake with colourful confettis mixed throughout. The entire cake was 25omg which I cut into pieces that I stored in both the fridge and freezer. You may be asking how did you buy a whole infused cake? I’m glad you asked! The best part about this cake is that it was an infused cake mix! For this particular cake mix all needed to do was add some oil, eggs and water to the powdered ingredients in the box, none of my own cannabis infusions needed. It was fun, easy and I can say with confidence, effective.
Benevolent Bakery makes infused boxed mixes, that only require a handful of ingredients.
The Confetti Cake required a few extra ingredients that you’ll have on hand, the box brownie mix only required water making these mixes appropriate for anyone, even without much baking experience. Each option are either 250mg per box or 100mg per box. They also have a commitment to donate a portion of each sale to local non-profits. A cannabis company with a social mission and an excellent product is a company I’m pleased to support.
I had the opportunity to interview the founder of Benevolent Bakery, Wesley Holloway on Bite Me The Show About Edibles to dig into the mindset of a cannabis entrepreneur giving back to the community. He is a hardworking founder breaking the lazy stoner stereotype each day. He said this: “I can’t help everyone, but if I can help someone today, then that’s a win.”
Baking just got a lot more fun! If you’ve ever wanted to try making your own edibles but was intimidated by the process, this takes out all the guesswork. The results are delicious!
Try it out yourself and support good causes at the same time by going to Benevolent Bakery to shop online or find where you pick them up in store.
