Edible Review: Recharge by Sense & Purpose
I love cannabis beverages, which, if you’ve read my reviews, you’ll notice that I’ve reviewed quite a few. Yes I can make infused beverages at home and as an edibles maker I often do. But there’s about the nano-emulsion of a well crafted edibles drink that’s hard to replicate at home.
Take this Orange, Pineapple, Passionfruit Sparkling Water + Juice by Sense & Purpose. Despite being a sparkling water, it has a rich flavour with the addition of real fruit juices from concentrate. Sparkling water flavours can be so mild that they’re barely noticeable, but that is not the case with this drink. Since there is fruit juice in this sparkling water to give superior taste, the sugar content is not zero, but as it comes from real juice, I can forgive this. At 15 grams of sugar, it’s not nothing but it’s also not close to some of the drinks that boast 30+ grams of sugar.
This flavour combination was fantastic and when I got to the end of the can, the liquid got thicker which made me think that next I’ll give it a gentle swirl or shake before consuming as some of the juice must have settled on the bottom of the can.
With the maximum THC allowable in this beverage, I do get a buzz from it. But if you need more than one, I find it pricey compared to some other beverages on the market.
Overall, this drink has great flavour mixed with the carbonation of the sparkling water and the onset time is much shorter than a traditional edible. From what I can, it’s made with a cannabis distillate which will deduct some points but I would enjoy this again!
