Toad Venom hits with a funky, floral, earthy, sour, swampy sweetness layered with savory and citrus notes. On the breakdown, it gets peppery, tropical, gassy, creamy, and a little funky. The inhale brings earthy, floral, gassy, creamy richness with tropical umami, while the exhale leans floral, earthy, sour, creamy, tropical, fruity, and funky.
The flavor reminds me of soaking pineapple skin in fruit punch and letting it steep for a couple days, then adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream .Sweet, tangy, creamy, and funky all at once.
The smell translates perfectly into the taste, and the joint burned clean with white ash and a clean oil ring. The high is euphoric, relaxing, and spacey with a carefree, creative vibe. It starts light in the head, settling behind the eyes with a calming pressure.
As the body loosens and muscles relax, you feel weightless, deeply euphoric, yet clear minded uplifting enough for socializing, while still grounding. Definitely more of a midday strain, perfect for after work or an outdoor adventure. Compared to the OG version, this one feels a bit stronger with richer terps, though personally I enjoyed the OG more.
