Stakz Mushroom Review
Morphology: This is a beautifully grown albino variety of cube that has striking pearlescent coloration with streaks of blue of some of the stems. The caps are all stark white with the some of the blue on the underside of the gills. I’m a big fan of pretty much every albino variety I’ve tried so far and these were no different. It’s kind of an intimidating looking mushroom but in a good way!
Effect: I ground up a couple caps and one stem. (1.5 grams) and soaked it in about 2ish oz’s of fresh squeezed lemon juice for about an hour. I was doing laundry and right before I left to pick up the last load I drank it at about 9:20pm. I got to the laundromat and my load still had about 10 minutes left so I went out to the parking lot to smoke a joint. I came back inside about 15 minutes later and I had a noticeable shift in perception. I felt that distinctive rising sensation you get when you’re about to be elevated. The drop ceiling tiles all started to breathe and pulse with prismatic colorful dancing lights surrounding all the fluorescent fixtures hanging above me. I schlepped about 60-70lbs of laundry up my stairs and finally sit down and closed my eyes on the couch and settled in to the frequency that kept building up with deep vibrations being felt coming in through the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. The peak of the OEV were pretty intense but it was late ate night and had not light bulbs or unnatural light showing so I was able to just completely tune in the experience. I was listening to an Audiobook for a little while but couldn’t focus after a bit so I just closed my eyes and became a puddle for a while. At about midnight I was able to drift off to sleep. At 2 am I got up briefly and felt pretty much back to normal.
Overall: I really really enjoyed these mushrooms. I like to take this type of medicine usually by myself late at night so I can just fully enjoy the benefits. Having two young children I don’t have a lot of chances during the day to just sit by myself and be introspective with my thoughts. Being a parent teaches you a lot about how to be selfless but it is important to do self care like this so you don’t lose your sense of self. Very appreciative to the person who bred this and also to person who was able to introduce me to such a powerful strain of cube. Till next time! 🤙 🍄
