π: The look on this rosin was crazy. As soon as I cracked the jar, the first thing that stood out was the consistency similar to the last Pure Organics jar I had not too long ago, and a lot like what Iβve seen some of the homies with too. It leaned heavy on the runny side, with a bright, rich golden yellow color. The consistency was super wet, with rosin coating the sides and even the lid if left on its side which isn’t really my favorite kind of consistency for a cold cure, since it gets everywhere when youβre trying to dab.
I was obviously curious what was up with that, so mad love to Masterball Melts for tuning in on Twitter and helping get a reply fromΒ Pure OrganicsΒ on whether he does any post processing after the cold cure. Pure OrganicsΒ let us know heβs never post processed a jar of cold cure. He states this one was pressed at 170Β°F and cured at 68Β°F in his closet and said heβs never added heat to a jar and never will.
As for the presentation, the jar art was simple with a light green color all around, with a top sticker showing the collab in a clean font and a wraparound label with the info. 8.6/10
π: The nose on this one is really enjoyable. It wasn’t as loud as I expected or wanted, it has a smooth, sweet, citrusy fruit aroma that’s definitely on the milder side, not that punchy, in your face type I usually prefer. Whatβs interesting is I didnβt pick up any of the sour diesel notes you might expect from the genetics and honestly, Iβm not mad at that. 8.9/10
π : The taste on this one was genuinely great. It delivered a light Champaya flavor with that sweet, zesty light citrus fruit notes that really taste great on the palate in my opinion. As I mentioned in the nose, the sour diesel didnβt show up in taste either which honestly surprised me. I expected it to come out swinging in the flavor, but it stayed completely buried and didn’t present itself at all.
The taste is basically a mild, smooth Champaya taste thatβs super enjoyable and easy to keep going back to dab after dab. One thing I always appreciate is when terps dab clean, and this one definitely did. No throat itch, no background noise, just a smooth, flavorful hit every time. That clean finish really sealed it for me. 9.1/10
Overall: This jar was really enjoyable and delivered some amazing terps. The only downside was the consistency. I just wish it was a bit more stable. Honestly, thatβs not something you can control much, and it didnβt take away from the overall experience at all, just annoying to work with.
I grabbed this one because I had tried a dab of the Champaya from the First Class Concentrates and Trichome Tortoise collab that was fire terps though weβll probably never see those two team up again. Still, this jar checked just about every box, especially if consistency isnβt a big factor for you. The high was really enjoyable, not overpowering, but definitely enough to put you in a good place. It’s more on the terpy side than theΒ potent side, though I did wish it hit a bit heavier.
Pure Organics and First Class Concentrates definitely did their thing with this one. That said, I probably wouldnβt grab it again not because it wasnβt good or anything, but just because it didnβt leave me craving a second jar. You know that feeling when somethingβs good, but once is enough that’s how this one felt. 8.9/10
