Cold Znapz Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review
Erik’s Score: 8.1/10
I was eager to try Cold Snapz by fellow cannabis reviewer The Thc Spot, his last collab with Ted was the Hella Jelly and it smoked beautifully. Upon opening the mylar, a deep earthy nose with a light sweet overlay comes out and at the end of the smell there is like a light cool mint or ice that is probably coming from the Menthol lineage. The nugs were super fresh and extra sticky with the breakdown being A1.
The flavor profile was somewhat consistent with an earthy and light sweet mint taste but I think it could have been a little more terpy and smooth. The high is what stood out the most, with a heavy fast onset that gives a soothing pressure around the whole head. Body high is light but still sedating enough to sleep as my eyes felt saggy. The mental high had some zone in effects in the beginning but turned a little foggy and out of it towards the end of the high.
Overall great job to The Thc Spot as I’m loving the collabs with Ted’s Budz, with that being said I did enjoy the Hella Jelly better out of the two. Excited to see the next collab. Cheers 💨
Cold Snapz Review December 2024
COLD SNAPZ🧊🥶
By: Ted’s Budz and We Roll Up/THC Spot
🧬: The Menthol x Cold Snaps
📋: 85%
This is my second time smoking Cold Snapz from Ted’s and THC Spot and I have to say this batch was definitely more impressive than the last. Right when I opened the bag I was hit with a very noticeable sweet and minty aroma that left a cool like feeling on my nose. I can smell the Lemon Cherry Z popping out to add some candy sweetness, but overall the aroma is mostly dominated by the Cold Snaps genetic with its cooling menthol nose.
The flavor is very similar to the aroma with a menthol forward exhale, with a sweet and minty ending on the aftertaste. The lung pressure was pretty solid and there was no noticeable harshness. The flavor definitely represents the genetics perfectly and it is a different type of weed smell that is unique. I liked it, but overall it did not impress me too much.
For the effects, Cold Snapz is versatile. It’s relaxing but also uplifting enough to get things done. The high hits pretty hard with a quick onset that has you on your ass for a second, but then gradually turns into this hazy and euphoric head change. I felt productive enough to get tasks done but still feeling mellowed down with some very light sedating side effects.
I enjoyed Cold Snapz this time around better than my last. I believe this batch had more terps and potent effects, help raising its score from its last grade at 81% to a 85%. I believe a great menthol genetic can be hard to come by but Ted and my guy from THC Spot/We Roll Up killed this for any menthol lovers. With this being said, I still liked his Hella Jelly strain more than this one, so I hope to see that come back on the menu one day. Cheers 💨
