Having previously enjoyed Granadaz from Don Merfos a couple of years back, I was interested in seeing how it fared more recently. Being an undisclosed cross of LCG, with the branding translated from Spanish, meaning Pomegranate. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by a bubblegum candy aroma, delivering sugary sweet notes of cherries and strawberries, alongside a citrus and gentle floral and earthy Gelato influenced gas, complemented by refreshing notes of subdued pine. The buds were of a hard density and had a hybrid structure.

They were a shade of light green with sporadic hues of of purple, behind a thick layer of almost white trichomes, with thick messy rustic pistils. Upon inhaling, my palate was instantly overcome by a syrupy sweet candy infusion of cherries and strawberries, alongside gentle earthy Gelato influenced undertones, with traits of refreshing pine and sour citrusy lemons. The taste of this syrupy gas was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling.

The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, I overall found Granadaz to deliver a tasty candy profile with distinctive syrupy and piney traits. With a little further dialling in required, Granadaz will forever remain a strong staple of Don Merfos’s lineup.
