Strain Review: Pico Dulce by Cannatique
Pico Dulce Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review
SMELL: 9.1/10 FLAVOUR: 8.5/10 SMOOTHNESS: 7.9/10 ASH APPEARANCE: 5.7/10 STRENGTH: 9.1/10 OVERALL SMOKE: 7.5/10 Being another new release from Cannatique, I was interested in seeing how Pico Dulce fared to some of its counterparts. With the branding referencing a popular candy treat from Argentina. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by extremely citrus and piney sour lemon overtones infused with extremely sweet cherry, blueberry and blackcurrant notes with a splash of zesty grapefruit. This invigorating candy scent was complemented by light earthy Gelato and Cookie undertones. The buds were of a medium to hard density, and had a hybrid structure. They were a shade of light green, with messy rustic pistils behind hues of purple and caked in a layer of trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was greeted by a gentle earthy, savoury gas with chemical and hazelnut traits, complemented by sugary, sweet bubblegum undertones, consisting of strawberries, blackcurrant and cherries. The taste of this sweet earthy gas is retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of dark to medium grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both surprisingly smooth and clean. To conclude, despite producing a darker than desired shade of ash, Pico Dulce managed to deliver a pleasant sweet bubblegum candy gas, and although nothing too memorable compared to its counterparts, with further dialling in, it can hopefully retain a place on Cannatique’s forever expanding candy lineup.True & unbiased topshelf Cali flower reviews.
