Plum Mochi Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review
Erik’s Score: 8.7
Aromas: For the nose, I was getting candy notes that kind of reminded me a little bit of a mellow Lemon Cherry Gelato cut. As I kept smelling I was definitely picking up notes of guava and plum. When I broke it down notes of pink eraser, dessert, and a very light smoke smell came out. This strain has absolutely no smells of kush, gas, or earthiness, so if your a sweet candy strain lover this is up your alley.
Flavors: The transition from aroma to flavor is kept up as there is a nice deep purple flavoring on the exhale, with similar notes from the nose such as the guava and plum. The smokiness I talked about does pop out a tad on the flavor as well. Lung expansion and pressure was solid. Smooth exhale with no harshness.
Effects: Pretty quickly I realized that Plum Mochi was leaning more on the sedating and sleepier side of things but Its not a total knock out strain because I was still able to function and socialize well. Right after my first hit, my body was intoxicated with a relaxing wave of sedation and it also slowed my mind down which I enjoyed. I would rate the strength at a 8.5/10.
Summary: I enjoyed Plum Mochi and it did remind me of the Plum Mochi Horchata that I had long time ago from Teds. All the boxes were checked off for this strain, so I would definitely recommend. I did wish the flavor profile was a little more complex but it wasn’t bad. The nugs were fresh, broke down A1 and the burn was a 8/10. Overall I am rating Plum Mochi at a 8.7/10 because I really enjoyed it but at the end of the day it didn’t wow me, and I take that seriously when I grade strains. To make it on my 90th percentile rating the flower has to have me raving about it, wanting people to try it. Cheers 💨
