Having enjoyed the last strain reviewed from Life Is Not Grape, I was interested to see how their rare release of Teflon Tape fared. With the branding referencing the industrial sticky tape. Upon opening I was instantly overcome by a unique creamy sweet infusion, exhibiting notes of blueberries and strawberries, with subdued tropical undertones of blackcurrant, apples and citrusy orange, complemented by a faint floral and earthy Sherbet and Cookies influenced gas with hints of glue.

The buds were of a hard density and had a combined hybrid and foxtail structure. They were varied shades of green, with hues of purple and attractive pink and violet guts, alongside bright rustic pistils and absolutely drenched in trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was instantly overcome by a distinctive creamy and sweet earthiness, delivering notes of blueberries, cherries and strawberries, accompanied by a creamy earthiness with distinctive traits of citrusy orange and faint sour grapes. The taste of this unique creamy tropical earthiness was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside an instantaneous dripping and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.

To conclude, although not to everyones taste, I ultimately found Teflon Tape to deliver a uniquely creamy tropical earthiness, exhibiting its unique Marsha lineage effectively. With the Tropicana Cookies lineage initially flourishing, leaving distinctive remnants of Cookies N Cream. Despite not having the lightest ash it smoked well, ticking most boxes and with a little further dialling in will remain a unique staple of Life Is Not Grape’s lineup, serving as a good choice for enthusiasts of Tropicana Cookies.
