Upaya Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review
Bag appeal: The bag appeal was nothing short of amazing. Beautiful frosted light green nugs with a fury of orange pistils covering the bud. The Frosty coating of Trichomes over the inflorescence helps it give it a morning dew type look that assures it will be a head turner. The aroma I got off the first few whiffs was complex, with a mixture of cheese, sweet diesel and fruity scents. After a little concentrated focus i immediately picked up a melon/cantaloupe aroma with a backdrop of sweet gas. While breaking up the nugs almost all of the stems bent with a soft “snap” sound – which is a sign of a proper cure. The high for me was mood boosting and stress relieving almost instantly, with pain relief setting in half way through the joint. I also noticed my inflammation has calmed down a bit too which is nice. With as much pain relief I’m getting I notice I’m not groggy at all which is another bonus. The only kind-of negative thing I have to say is that I wish the taste was better. But other than that nothing but good reviews! Between the fruity smell, it registering mid to high nose while doing the smell test, along with the abundance of pistils helped give me the idea that this would be a balanced hybrid if not a 60/40 leaning Narrow Leaf Marijuana Dominant (NLMD). I paid $200 for an ounce and strongly believe it was worth it. I would also recommend it to a friend as i myself have scooped this certain cultivar 3 or 4 times? My memories not the best lol.
