I am a fan of gummies. Even more so when they’re infused because I’ll crush a bag of gummies in one sitting if they’re not. I will not admit here how big of a bag we’re talking. Infusion keeps me reasonable.
The Wyld Real Fruit Sour Cherry Gummies are a standout in local dispensaries. They start with great compostable packaging which is refreshing in a sea of throw away packaging. I do wish Canadians could get the same cool cardboard boxes like they have in the states (at at least when I was there) but they can also put more gummies in a pack in the US. Life is unfair.
These were soft and chewy and with a hint of tartness – definitely not enough to make your face pucker, but a good tart cherry flavour and not bitter taste you get with alot of infused gummies. With only 5mg of THC per serving you can easily consume more – though that can get costly for those with a high tolerance. However, compared to other options, the Wyld Real Fruit Sour gummies are priced competitively.
They do claim on their package that these are indica gummies, something I’m skeptical about. In this instance they include terpenes in their ingredient list – linalool, myrcene, beta caryophyllene, terpineol – but no mention of whether they’re botanical terpenes or cannabis derived terpenes. I understand that cannabis derived terps are more costly than botanical so I’m going to assume that they went the botanical route. They also use cannabis extract which doesn’t sound full spectrum to me. In the end, the addition of the terps might provide a more sedative experience but that’s not what I found.
They provided a mild buzz for me, 10mg is on the low end of my preferred dosage. For the right consumer, these are a cost effective, tasty gummy that will offer a relaxed edibles body high.
