Strain Review: Thanoz by Calibre Exotics

With this being a prepackaged new drop exclusively sent by Calibre Exotics to the UK, I was excited to be able to put it to the test. Upon opening I instantly received a rush of an enticing bubblegum candy aroma, with fragrant pastille undertones. Notes of strawberries, cherries and grapes flourished alongside a gentle Gelato gas. The buds were of a hard density, having a combined foxtail and boulder structure, being shades of medium to light green underneath a layer of white shining trichomes, with sporadic purple hues, alongside minimal brown rustic hydroponic hairs. Upon inhaling, my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell, displaying a sweet medley of strawberries, cherries and grapes, complemented by a perfectly balanced Gelato influenced gas. This desirable infusion of flavours exhibited bubblegum and candy traits, which were retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light silver, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring, smoking primarily smooth and tasting clean. To conclude, I found Thanoz a nice bubblegum Runtz. It ticked most boxes, and with a little further dialling, can be perfected even more. Unfortunately Calibre Exotics did let themselves down though, as a matter of principle and not necessarily the financial constraint, I was left feeling disappointed having purchased two zips, and finding every “hand selected” prepackaged “3.5g” pack arriving underweight, weighing between 3.35-3.42g, as well as a couple containing unacceptable amounts of dust. I expect this off a desperate runner, but not the actual company itself.
