With Topsyde produced by some of the leading cultivators in the industry responsible for RS11, Zoap and many more, I was excited to try this Rainbow Sherbet variation crossed with The Y. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by a familiar scent of Rainbow Sherbet, displaying floral Sherbet overtones, infused with earthy notes of Cookies with sweet hints of cherries and guava. The buds were of a hard density and had a boulder structure. They were a shade of medium green, with hues of dark purple and attractive pink and violet guts, alongside shorty light rustic pistils and enriched in trichomes.
Upon inhaling, my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering earthy notes of cookies with floral Sherbet accents, complemented by mildly sweet cherry and guava undertones. Ultimately tasting like a Cookie dominant RS11. The taste of these familiar traits were retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.
To conclude, I overall found Topsyde to deliver its genetics effectively, exhibiting an RS profile with a strong influence of Cookies. Although nothing overly exciting, it smoked well and ticked most boxes. With some further dialling in required, Topsyde can be further improved and serve as a good choice for those looking for an RS and Cookie influenced strain.
