With Deep East never failing to disappoint, I was excited to be able to see how this fairly new release fared, being a cross of two of their famous in house strains. Arriving in captivating reflective branding. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by an extremely inviting exotically sweet concoction of primarily cherries and guava with bursts of citrus and blackcurrant, alongside floral and gentle earthy undertones of Cookies. The buds were of a medium density and had a hybrid structure. They were a shade of medium green, barely visible behind hues of dark purple and attractive pink and violet guts, alongside short light rustic pistils, harbouring a universe of trichomes, displaying strong Zoap characteristics.
Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by a strong floral Zoap dominance, with noticeable traits of Cookies and mildly sweet cherries and creamy strawberries, alongside gentle earthy and Sherbet undertones. The taste of these familiar traits were retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of medium grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.
To conclude, despite producing a fairly darker shade of ash than desired, I overall found Beso to deliver its genetics effectively, exhibiting a strong Zoap dominance with a complementary influence of cherries and Cookies. It smoked reasonably well, ticking most boxes and with some further dialling in required Beso can be further improved and serve as a tasty replacement of Zoap.
