OG Marker Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

I have not had the Preferred Gardens brand in a while and it is nice to see that they haven’t changed, quality trees at a great price. Their eighths go for around $35, and for the genetics they have with the quality production, you can’t really beat that.
Opening the bag I was immediately hit with the Permanent Marker genetic as I picked up that sharpie gas nose it has. After I kept smelling, pockets of some type of OG came through but the PM was dominating. I would describe it overall as colorful sharpies with a funky gas. Very solid aroma.
Since the Permanent Marker is most dominant, the exhale produces notes of sherbet and funk. It’s clean with good lung pressure, smooth exhale, and no harshness. Very tasty but I have been tasting a lot of Permanent Marker lately so nothing that blows me away.
When it comes to the high, I was very impressed. 1-2 hits off my bong had me really comfortable and where I wanted to be, meaning you can use less flower to get high off this strain which is great for the wallet. It’s a quick onset that creates a heavy buzz in the face and eyes, making you felt a little melted. The buzz slowly works its way down to the body after making it great for unwinding. My focus level was in and out as I kept drifting off mentally a bit. I would keep this around for deep relaxation and unwinding, as its a little to strong and slumpy to get things done on.
After finishing the eighth, I was overall impressed with OG Marker by Preferred Gardens and at its $35 price tag I will 100% be picking up more. Got another Preferred Gardens strain review coming out soon so keep an eye out for that. Cheers 🍻
