With Legend OG being one of my first strains from California back in 2014 I was excited to see how Jungleboy’s rendition fared. Boasting a modest 33.50% total sum of cannabinoids. Upon opening I instantly received a memorable pungent aroma of OG with a distinctive twist. Displaying refreshing notes of pine, chemicals, skunk and fuel complemented by creamy marzipan overtones alongside light musky and mildly zesty notes of lemon. The buds were of a medium density, having a typical Kush and OG structure.
They were a shade of golden medium to light green, alongside messy rustic pistils and absolutely caked in trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering a pungent earthiness, displaying strong traits of fuel, chemicals and skunk complemented by a floral sweetness with light notes of pine and rubber with a hint of marzipan and lemon.
The taste of this enjoyable OG was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside an oozing resinous oil. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, I overall found Legend OG to deliver its lineage effectively, resulting in a tasty rendition. It smoked well, ticking most boxes and with some further dialling in required will always remain a strong choice for enthusiasts of OG.
