Not having had Preferred Gardens Sherbanger before, I was interested to see how their rendition fared. Upon opening I instantly received a familiar pungent gassy earthiness, displaying strong notes of Skunk and Sherbet with traits of cream and menthol, complemented by a floral sweetness consisting of tangy blueberries and apples. The buds were of a medium to hard density and had a hybrid structure. They were a shade of light green, covered in a dark purple coat with violet guts, alongside bright messy rustic pistils, and absolutely showered in a universe of gleaming trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by a Sherbet influenced earthiness with Kush overtones, over dominating a faint floral creaminess and unfortunately like all other Sherbanger’s; not transferring the enticing sweet blueberry notes from the smell as much as anticipated. The taste of this earthy Sherbet Kush infusion was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside an instantaneous oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, despite Sherbanger in general not being one of my favourite strains, I found it displayed its genetics effectively, smoking reasonably well and was definitely a good rendition. With some further dialling in, it will remain a staple of PG’s lineup, serving as a good choice for enthusiasts of that particular profile.
