Big Buddha Gouda Cannabis Cultivar (“Strain”) Review
📋: 87%
Big Buddha Gouda carries a very nice sweet cheese profile for the aroma. It’s very funky and has light hints of earth and wood. It was reminding me of smelling a candle from the farmers market. When broken down, it releases more sweetness that was reminding me of some type of sherbet. After learning the genetics post smoke, I didn’t pick up too much or any GSC terps which was surprising. It would’ve been nice for a more cheesy cookie smoke to follow the genetics but I’m not complaining.
The flavor was definitely unique as it has a cheesy chemical flavor. I know it might not sound delightful but the terps are so unique that it will definitely enhance your palate. The aftertaste lingers pretty well with a sweet chemical flavor. The lug expansion is strong with a smooth exhale and no harshness.
Big Buddha Gouda made me feel relaxed but also uplifted with a nice fun social energy. I smoked this before dinner with my friends and it was the perfect vibe to socialize and laugh. It was keeping me in tune and focused. There is still a good amount of relaxation in the head and body so it won’t make you feel racy or wired.
Overall I was very excited to try this strain because the strain UK Cheese is in it. UK Cheese is also in Swiss Goat Cheese which was hands down one of, if not my favorite strain of 2024. Big Buddha Gouda was not as good as Swiss Goat Cheese but it still was a heater. I will pick this strain up again for day smoking or smoke it right before I go out with friends because it had me happy and laughing. I recommend this hybrid to any smoker. Let me know if you have tried the UK Cheese strain before. Cheers 💨
