Aromas:
Red Pineapple has a sweet and funky aroma that almost reminded me of a teriyaki sauce or maybe a soy sauce. The sweet profile is definitely unique because it smelled like funky muddled fruit. The funkiness isn’t crazy prominent but it’s definitely mixing things up a little bit with a touch of gas. After putting it through the flower mill, a sweet fruit aroma popped out that almost smelled like LCG crossed with something gassy. To put it in a few words I would say this strain smells like muddled fruits, teriyaki sauce, funky, gassy, and fresh.
Flavors:
On the inhale I was picking up fruity notes, followed by a robust earthy and gassy exhale. The aftertaste has notes of gas, fruit, and freshness. It’s a smooth smoke with pretty strong lung pressure and no harshness.
Effects:
Red Pineapple has versatile effects that can be used for different situations. I smoked this before going out to dinner and I enjoyed the vibe it gave me as I felt uplifted and awake enough to hold conversations, while still having my body relaxed and comfortable. When I smoked this to unwind or go to sleep it did take me a few hits to feel nicely slumped, which surprised me because it’s labeled as a straight Indica. The high starts off more as a hybrid that will increase focus and lift you up, while the second part of the high is where the heaviness starts to come on making you wanna sit back and get ready to doze off.
Overall, good effects but it’s not as potent as his other drops so I don’t know if I’ll be picking this up again.
To conclude Red Pineapple gave me mixed feelings. It definitely grew on me as I smoked through the eighth, but like I said in the effects, it’s not as crazy as his other drops where you could get the same effects, but with more potency, if you know what I mean. I did find the aroma and flavor not as terpy as I wanted them to be, but it was there. Overall I am going to put this at an 83% because it checks off most of the boxes and it’s a good smoke but I think you could find better when shopping from 12 Alarm Fire and Ted’s. Cheers 💨
