Aroma~
If you are a candy fan, look no further than Rainbow Gushers. When you put your nose into the bag you will pick up an immediate scent of sweetness and candy weed that smells like a bag of hard fruit candy. It’s one of those smooth, almost gelato candies where it’s just something I can smell all day long. There is notes of creamy smoothness that creates a pleasant sweet candy smell that had me reaching back for more. For a 7 g bag of smalls, the nugs were fresh, pretty, and broke down into a fluffy consistency.
Taste~
When it comes to the flavor, it seems like some of the loud candy and sweet terps get lost a little bit. The exhale is definitely smooth and creates no harshness whatsoever, but it’s kind of straightforward with a light earthy flavoring with maybe a touch of sweetness. The candy/sweetness is really coming out more on the aftertaste than anything, it’s not bad but I just wish it was more consistent.
Effects~
Rainbow Gushers is perfect to smoke anytime of the day. It creates a stoned out feeling that has me relaxed but also uplifted. Rainbow Gushers creates a light sense of euphoria and uplift, while also putting my body into a state of blissful relaxation. There is no crazy heavy or slumped out feeling so don’t expect this to be your nightcap, it will just slow things down to make you unwind. There is very light eye pressure and the head high has light stimulation that makes me feel tuned in and happy.
Rainbow Gushers is another really solid strain from Poundcake’s Farms. If I had to compare this to their Fontainbleau I will say the aroma and effects are better but the flavor on Fontainbleau was much cleaner and more detectable. Rainbow Gushers is that perfect late afternoon smoke that you would want to reach for when you get off work and need to unwind but not knock yourself out yet. I’m loving this brand, so expect much more content with their flower. Cheers 💨
